The primary purpose of petroleum sweetening at petroleum refineries is the elimination of unwanted sulfur compounds. A complete range of intermediate and finished products like gasoline, kerosene, jet fuel and sour gases are dried and sweetened. In this process the sulphur compounds are treated to improve color, odor and oxidation stability. Sweetening process also helps to reduce carbon dioxide concentrations. MFAR offers high grade Activated Carbon for petroleum sweetening systems.
